Good morning, Forsyth County.

An informed neighbor has a better shot at staying out of trouble than one who's in the dark. Same goes for a town. A place runs better when the folks who live there know what is being built, what is being planned, what is worth showing up for, and what changes might be headed their way. Good information helps you plan your week, your month, and your year a little smarter.

There was a time when this kind of news traveled by conversation across porches, counters, and pews. Now it is scattered all over the place, buried in county agendas, tucked into Facebook groups, and hidden on websites nobody has the patience to dig through.

That is a big part of why the Forsyth Flyer exists. To pull together the useful bits, lay them out in plain language, and save you the trouble of hunting them down yourself. An informed neighbor is not just harder to fool, but better set up to make the most of the place they call home.

The Key to Better aging: More NAD+

Most skincare works on the surface. Aramore goes where real aging begins: the basal layer of the skin, where new cells form. Backed by decades of research from Harvard and MIT scientists, Aramore is the first topical system designed to support skin’s NAD+ — the molecule your cells rely on for repair, energy, and resilience.

As NAD+ naturally declines with age, visible changes follow: dullness, uneven tone, fine lines, and loss of firmness. Aramore’s unique complex of NAD+ precursors, ketones, and fatty acids helps replenish cells at the source for skin that acts healthier and younger.

Clinically shown to improve tone, radiance, smoothness, and firmness as soon as 28 days.

THE DIGEST

Cumming police moving into new City Center headquarters

Cumming's Police Department and Municipal Court have a move-in date for their brand-new building at the Cumming City Center. The modern facility, photographed in a ready state on April 17, will replace the department's longtime home on Veterans Memorial Boulevard. The new precinct sits within the heart of the City Center development on Canton Road — a shift that puts public safety resources closer to one of the city's most active commercial and gathering areas. Details on the official opening date are expected to be shared by the city shortly.

County reviews cold storage company's expansion request

The Forsyth County Commission reviewed a zoning request at its April 16 meeting from TOMCO2, a cold storage company seeking to add an open storage yard to its Ridgeland Parkway site in south Forsyth. The company is asking for variances to reduce required buffers, landscaping strips, and open space at its existing 6.4-acre parcel, which already includes a 77,000 square-foot warehouse and 85 parking spaces. The site is zoned for industrial use. Residents interested in following the outcome can view meeting agendas and recordings at forsythco.com/Meetings.

Spring Market fills City Center with more than 100 vendors

The Cumming City Center's Spring Market on Saturday, April 18 drew more than 100 vendors to the Lou Sobh Amphitheater green, filling the grounds with local artisans, food vendors, and community organizations for one of the season's first big outdoor markets. The event highlighted the City Center's continued role as a community hub and gave residents an early-season taste of the weekly Cumming Farmers Market, which runs every Saturday through the warmer months at the same Vision Parkway location. The Farmers Market continues this Saturday, April 25.

THANKS!

That's the Flyer for this week. Forsyth County has a way of packing a lot into seven days, and my job is just to help you keep track of it without burning an hour scrolling through five different websites to do it.

If something in here made you think of someone who would want to know, send it their way. Word of mouth is still how the best stuff spreads around here, and every forward genuinely helps the Flyer grow.

And if you see something worth sharing, a new shop opening up, a pothole that's about had it, a fundraiser, a kid doing something impressive, hit reply and send it over. My inbox is open and I read every message that comes in.

Until next time, have a great week!
